I diagnose growth and retention problems for DTC brands.
14 years doing this across ecommerce, fintech, and SaaS.
The path here
I learned marketing by volunteering for things nobody else wanted to do.
My first job was an internship at a nonprofit in Louisville, Kentucky, still in college. The work was envelopes and coffee runs, but the place was short-staffed enough that anyone who raised their hand got handed the project. So I raised my hand for everything: rebuilt the website, started their social presence, launched an email program from scratch. Within a year I was running marketing for the entire program.
That instinct never really left. I moved through CRM, loyalty, and lifecycle roles at a wealth management practice, then at Sportline America in Panama, then at Cheil, picking up data, segmentation, and martech architecture along the way.
Then came Zinli and Vokal, where I learned growth marketing specifically, and that's when something shifted. I stopped thinking in channels and started thinking in loops: acquisition, activation, and retention as one connected system instead of three separate jobs.
Everything since, running lifecycle strategy across multiple brands at once at Pattern Brands, building predictive segmentation models at Bloom Nutrition, running my own consultancy, has been a deeper version of that same system-level thinking. Find what's actually broken, figure out where it sits in the loop, then fix that.
How I Work
I start at the customer, not the channel
A founder comes in worried about CAC, and the instinct everywhere else in this industry is to optimize the ad account harder. I start somewhere else: what's actually happening to a customer after they buy. Nine times out of ten, that's where the real story is.
Your business, not the benchmark
Every "best practice" article tells you what the average brand does. I'm not interested in average. I'm interested in what's specifically true about your business, your customer, your margins, and your actual data. The roadmap I hand you is built for your system, not assembled from a template.
Your team runs execution
I provide the diagnosis and the roadmap, but the execution is yours. This way, I have no incentive to recommend more work than the problem actually requires. I will provide all the implementation enablement your team requires to execute.
From People I’ve Worked With
“We needed help building scalable acquisition and lifecycle systems for distinct customer segments, and Alejandra came in with a level of structure I didn't expect. She mapped how acquisition, CRM, engagement, and conversion worked together across our funnel, defined our ICPs clearly, and made sure the messaging held at every stage. What stood out was how quickly she understood our industry and turned that into something actionable. We left with a clearer direction and a more cohesive growth approach than we'd had in years.”
— CMO at specialized compounding pharmacy.“She doesn't just identify opportunities. She turns them into strategies and pushes them forward. Highly collaborative, structured, and genuinely easy to work with.”
— Head of Talent Brand at global SaaS company.“What I appreciated most most isn't the deliverables. It's that Alejandra consistently brought clarity to situations that felt complicated. She communicated thoughtfully, never dropped the ball, and somehow made every project feel more manageable than it looked going in. A genuinely easy person to work with on hard problems.”
